My brain is squishy.
I prefer not to have morning appointments. I'm never fully awake and ready to face the world until maybe close to lunch time. I can talk on the phones but I'd much rather not have to face people. But I’m heading to an appointment this morning. I don't want to talk to anyone in the mornings. Or maybe it’s this morning. I’m not sure. Can’t really figure it out yet.
Friday night I went down to Irvine Boy’s, he made me lobster dinner. It was an amazing hunk of a tail he made me. Really good. For the rest of the night we stayed in to watch a DVD he asked me to pick up. Dumb movie though. Neither one of stayed awake to finish it. Well, he passed out way before me. Wasn’t too sure what else there was left to do so I just washed up and went to bed.
Saturday came around. And I’m having a moment of amnesia here… can’t seem to remember what I was doing in the daytime. Oh, had an appointment in the morning, got my nails done after, and then grocery shopping before I went back down to Irvine. I had offered to make dinner for everyone. Him and his new roommate, Stacy. James, the other guy couldn’t make it, he had some other thing with his friends. Nothing too difficult, just made beef spring rolls for appetizers and curry pork cutlet for the main course. After dinner Irvine Boy and I went to catch the last showing of The Departed at the Irvine Spectrum. Great movie. Really liked it. Definitely an A movie.
Sunday had my Monthly girls’ dinner. For some reason everyone had something to do this month. One girl went to Barcelona, one girl went to a wedding, one girl had a baby’s one month old dinner, and who else… Anyway, so it ended up being me and Stacy. Dinner was still great though. Had lots of fun. We went to The Raymond’s Restaurant in Pasadena. Had their tasting menu with their tasting wine. It’s a seven course meal that comes with a different wine for each course. Too bad the rest of the girl’s missed it.
So there’s the weekend update for you. Nothing too crazy, a pretty chill few days.

wow, the dinner seb made looks so good~~~ yummy... so sweet and lucky u are~~~ and what movie did u guys past out on? so that way i wont rent it, hehe:)
and for me, i didnt really like departed that much. maybe cuz i seen the chinese one too many times, so it was almost exactly like it, so i wasnt really anticipating or expecting anything. and it jsut felt way too long for me, like when is it going to be over? but im not saying that the chinese one is better, but u know how it is. when u already seen the orginal version first, the second one jsut dont seem that good. (for me, it was just watching new actors as opposed to chinese actors) esp. when they change the plot a lil, u just think its not correct or the right version? (like how they only shared one love interest in the american one, but in the chinese one they had separate love interests)
and seriously, when do i ever get to tast ur cooking???!!! ive been asking for so long, and i never had anything u made before yet? and weve known eachother how long? and everything u make always sounds so mmm mmm good!
dont forget to call me whenever ur in pasadena for a weekday luncheon...
well, at least this weekend sounds more calm and relaxed for u and no dramas? hehe
hope ur cold and cough is all better~~~
