I'm back...
I got back from Taiwan Monday evening and it’s right back to work. I think I’m still a little jet lagged because everyday at around 10 p.m. I feel like I’m about to die! I couldn’t keep my eyes open if my life depended on it. But I think maybe after this weekend I think I’ll be much better after I catch up on some sleep.
I was really sad my last day there… I felt like I didn’t get enough time with my family even though 3 weeks is a long time to most people. But nothing I can do.. Have to come back and catch up on work. I guess I can always just schedule another trip to go back toward the end of the year. My grandmother is 87 years old and I feel any time I can still have with her is very much cherished. Every time when I’m leaving for the airport and I give my grandmother one last hug, I always feel like I see in her eyes that maybe this is the last time we’ll see each other. And I’m always thinking to myself what ‘if’ this really is the last time I see her. So any chance I get to go back and see her…and just spend time together…
A few pictures from my trip….
My first day arriving... I thought to myself, I still have almost a whole month! Little did I how fast time flies...
My best friend in Taiwan... I love her to death...

hey wawa, I felt that way too when I went to school on the east coast and my grandma was on the west coast...she was also diagnosed with cancer and at the time I felt like everytime I leave, it COULD be the last time...it was so hard. I am glad you were able to spend time with your grandma:) Hope you get to go back again soon, I wish I had more time with my grandma.
Your pictures are stunning as usual! You are one of the few girls I see that looks great and chic in short hair, all your friends seems very modern and hip as well:) Well, I'll be down in Irvine next weekend, call me if you want to do anything:) You have my digits, right?
Have a great day!
aaawww...you got a new hair cut! Adorable and really makes you look like wawa
yeah i have your number, i think i saved it in my email...I'll make sure I put it in my phone today. I get in Friday 3/9 at night ~ 1030pm and leave Sunday night at 6pm I think. I am trying to get up with Beverly as well since you two are my favorite SoCal Xanga girls that I am hoping to meet. I am thinking Saturday is a good day to meet up if you got any extra time. I have Beverly's number too and I will xanga her today hahaha.
aw.. u look so cute! welcome home
i know how you feel about your grandma. i feel the same way about mine in asia, but i havent seen her in a while. she basically raised me when i was younger. i guess when you are with the older generation in the family, you finally realize the importance of life and how short it may be and how time flies.
btw ... i always love your pix.
Wow, I was just in Shanghai for 3 weeks and feel the SAME way! I was so sad to leave.
Post some pics of the city! Just curious, I've never been.
you look SO cute in the pics! i love the bangs
glad you had fun and got home safely. don't work too hard...enjoy your weekend!
I had a great lunch today with my co-worker. They have this little diner called Mary's Pizza Shack and they have a protein plate with grilled chicken and sauteed mushrooms with a salad. It was so good! Let me know if you like the eggplant wrap...i think if you added some roasted red pepper slices it would taste better.
ryc: I agree!!! eating healthy is costly unless you committ to salads only haha. its also like the healthier stuff like soy milk and no transfat butter is more expensive. no wonder this country has a weight problem! Its the hardest when I'm giving dietary counseling to patients and they are like, I can't afford eating healthy!
cute hair cut!
wow, did carol cut and dye her hair as well too or just a wig? and u look fabulous! and ur face looks so boney now! u can totally see all the bone structure and ur high cheek bones
lookin fab! we need to catch up soon!
