  • Sunday is rest day.


     


     


    Sunday is always a nice day to stay home and get ready for the coming new week.  I don’t mind really doing a little bit of cleaning, grocery shopping, maybe some laundry, and catch up with some of my show sitting in my dvr.


     


    Judy came over and kept me company for most of the afternoon while I did my laundry.  We watched some cooking shows on television I had previously recorded but never had the time to watch.  I did like 6 loads of laundry.  All at once since it’s there’s like 10 washer and dryers in the laundry room on my end of the complex.  I finished drying most of the stuff except 2 dryers still have my stuff in them right now.  I had to do a 2nd cycle of drying since towels take longer.  But I was 20 minutes late getting there to pick it up and the security had locked the doors already.  I have to hit the gym in the morning and leave my place by 7:30 a.m., so hopefully the doors will be open by then for me to get my stuff.  If not, I’ll have to come back after my work out just to get my clothes.  I don’t think it’ll be a good idea to leave it there all day and get it after work.  My stuff may end up on the floor or something.


     


    I made random snacks for us to snack on tonight like fish sticks with tarter sauce… and then later made some soup noodles; that was dinner.  Rest of night I folded my clothes and just lounged around on my sofa.


     


    Today was my rest day from workouts… so didn’t do any.


     


    Okay, on to new findings!  I love it when I find new stuff to snack on.  Or the not-so-bad-for-you-snacks.  Amy’s Toaster Pops – Cheese pizza!  Only 150 calories and 5g of fat per pop.  Yum yum!!  Not that it would be good if I ate more than one pop per snack time.  But one for an afternoon snack isn’t bad at all.

    A BAD DREAM!

    Jamba Juice’s Orange Dream Machine Smoothie proves that Smoothies can be a big time dieting no-no.  Each Power sized Smoothie packs in a whopping 780 calories, 3.5g fat and an INSANE 155 grams of sugar.  That’s the same amount of sugar you’d get if you devoured about 5 1/2 cups of Breyers’ Chocolate Ice Cream.  Yikes!   Seems this Orange “Dream” is actually one big beverage nightmare. Orange you glad we warned you? Our Advice: Try one of Jamba’s new Enlightened Smoothies instead.  A 16-oz. Blueberry Balance has 150 calories.  Not bad!

  • I agree that Sunday is rest day.. that’s what I usually do every Sunday. But lately I’ve been so busy that I’m losing Sundays too.. and I know that’s going to frustrate me and get me very stressed out! Glad your Sunday was nice and easy.

  • hey you, boy do I feel kind of lazy lately haha.  I only did 30 mins cardio on sat and no work out yesterday.  I am totally hitting the gym today though haha.  i have been feeling loungy lately myself…its kinda nice to sit around and relax haha but don’t worry I won’t become a couch potato.

    those cheese pizzas sound good!

  • Sounds like a lovely Sunday! And, aren’t the stats about those Jamba smoothies so scary?! Everyone is running around slurping one, and there they are, huge vats of calories. They are delicious, though. :) When I lived in NY, on a hot day I’d have an original size one for lunch. I think when it’s a whole meal, it’s better than when it’s just a snack. At least that is how I justified it to myself!

    RYC: Yeah, crate training was a little tough. Atari was always quiet, though, once he realized he wasn’t going to get our attention when he whined. For us, the chewing phase was the hardest!

  • lol. now u know why it took me till 4am to post it. i was trying to figure it out too! :P i used a webcam, but i believe you can use your camera too and upload it to either youtube or xanga video for posting.

  • I haven’t lost anymore poundage since i saw you last…I think because I haven’t been exactly an Angel in my foods lately but it was just too much work to count calories all the time.  I know if I want to lose I just have to be better with foods.  I think I am just maintaining lately but I will get to work on it again!!!

    ryc: yeah my computer genius sister figured it out.  why didn’t I ever get the asian computer gene???

  • so, can you find out the exact specs on boba for me? whahahaha, since i have that like more than 3x a week! woah!!! it will all catch up to me within the year, i can feel it!  and now i started on popcorn too! wth? i need to cut back! but i just keep saying it, and no actions…. sigh…
