Breakfast today was 3 in 1 instant coffee, blueberry nutri-grain waffle with a little spray butter, and 2 eggs over-medium. Lunch I had a Lean Cuisine Cheese Ravioli. And now I’m hungry again. Going to have a protein bar in a little bit. Running low on those, I’ll need to restock soon. Most likely going to wait till tonight and see if there’s anything else I need aka, supplements, shakes, and any other healthy snacks.

hi! Yeah I just lost 2 pounds last week but who knows, its so easy to get it back on LOL. I think losing weight is a very slow process! I started at 29% body fat and 139 pounds...gross huh....i was in totally yucky shape after residency and not eating right/sleeping much/working out for 1 year. I was a blob hahaha. So, I've last about 14 pounds and 5% body fat in the last 8 months...see I told u, very slow. I plateau often so I always had to add stuff. Although I find running to be the best weight loss exercise.
About LA, want to come down again soon but have to move first. maybe end of June or July? are you gone any particular time those 2 months?---cuz i'll want to come when we can get together as well:)
RYC: " ... cause I don't want to sound like those crazy girls that are totally ready to have babies while the guy isn't even sure if you're the one ..."
Um, yeah, I don't know any girls like that ::whistles and looks up at the ceiling with fake innocence::
Tee hee! I think it's good that you don't talk about it much to Irvine Boy, at least before he brings it up. I wish I had that sort of patience. Not that it matters much anymore, but I could never hold my thoughts in! I never said to Johnny, "So, I want to have two kids with you," but I did talk about marriage and kids and never thought about scaring him off. I guess I figured that if I was going to scare him off, it would have been way before I started talking about that stuff, what with my crazy anal-retentiveness and obsessive personality (wow, I am making myself sound so attractive!
). Luckily Johnny always says what pops into his mind, too, but a part of me wonders what would have happened if I'd just not mentioned marriage and let him think of such things first! Anyway, enough about me ... sounds like soon enough, IB will be approaching you with that dream 3-carat diamond!
wow! you're so good with your diet and exercise!
ok, I'll keep that in mind. and when we meet up we'll go have some pinkberry yogurt again--that was sooo good! come up to norcal if you get a chance, I'd love to have you over as a guest:) we could do a spa day!
you're the healthiest person i know!
RYC: Awww, thanks, Wa! You're making me blush. The only things I can really complain about with regard to the pregnancy are the horrible skin and fatigue that plagued me in the first three months. Since I miscarried my first pregnancy, I am just really grateful to be pregnant and to have the baby growing so well this time! But, I think birds of a feather flock together -- you also have a really positive, go-getter attitude! Look at how you're approaching fitness!
About the weight -- I started off at 117 pounds on the day I found out I was pregnant (a bit bloated over my normal weight of 115, but I'll go with 117 as the base because it means I've gained less weight total!), and now I weigh in at 145. So that's 28 pounds so far. Recommended weight gain for a "normal" weight woman is 25-35 pounds. I'm supposed to gain half a pound a week from now until the end of the pregnancy, so that's about 4 pounds more. I've been pretty on track with that, so it looks like I'll come in around 32 pounds total for the pregnancy. Maybe a bit less, given that most women lose a couple of pounds right before labor starts (it's one of the signs of oncoming labor). But, like I said, with summer coming, I can't resist my ice cream! Hopefully the exercise will counteract that. Right now I'm more focused on making sure I gain enough weight so that the baby can gain the weight he needs to, though. However, I'm looking forward to shedding 12 pounds when the baby is born! (7-8 pounds of baby, the rest in amniotic fluid, placenta and sweat.) The other 20 pounds, I'll need some help with!
