  • Starting from yesterday, this is my 36th week of pregnancy!  Almost there.  Almost there.  I attempted to pack my hospital bag this weekend.  So far, I have socks and PJs in there.  That's it.  LOL.  I'll throw a few more things in there tonight like toiletries.  I'll probably need to wash a couple of baby blankets too.

My due date is 11/30.  So I think I will actually stop working at the start of Thanksgiving break.  Unless Baby Kumquat decides to come out sooner.  I can't wait to get the break.  Being pregnant is hard work.   Though at the end of the pregnancy, it's the start of another challenge.  But a challenge I'm looking forward to taking on.

    Have a great week everyone!

  • Not sure you will need to bother with the baby blankets, hon. Both times, I just packed one to put over the baby in the car seat on going-home day. The hospital will have TONS of shirts, blankets, hats, diapers for the baby. They'll probably even give you a blanket or two to take home, but you might not want the standard striped hospital blanket in your pics, so that would be the only reason to bring one. For the baby, you'll just need the going home outfit and that one blanket. Don't forget a magazine for yourself, and make sure your Chapstick and face cream are in your toiletries kit. It's so freaking dry in the hospital with the a/c on). Oh and snacks and water for Seb so he can eat right in the room. Also some change or $1 bills so he can visit the vending machines. Some moms also bring their own pillow but I didn't mind the hospital's.

You will do great! I can't WAIT for your delivery day to come!
