OH! By the way, I went to do my ultrasound yesterday to check on the position on Baby Kumquat.  Aaaaand he is...... HEAD DOWN!!

Yay!!

Starting from yesterday, this is my 36th week of pregnancy!  Almost there.  Almost there.  I attempted to pack my hospital bag this weekend.  So far, I have socks and PJs in there.  That's it.  LOL.  I'll throw a few more things in there tonight like toiletries.  I'll probably need to wash a couple of baby blankets too.

My due date is 11/30.  So I think I will actually stop working at the start of Thanksgiving break.  Unless Baby Kumquat decides to come out sooner.  I can't wait to get the break.  Being pregnant is hard work.   Though at the end of the pregnancy, it's the start of another challenge.  But a challenge I'm looking forward to taking on.

Happy November 1st! 

We stayed in ALL weekend. Thank gawd. My lower back needs the rest. I stayed up and caught up on everyone’s Facebook and Xanga. Seems like everyone is out partying. But my mommy did once warn me, “Once you get knocked up, all the late nights out with friends, freedom, and party scenes go out the window.” Tee hee. I guess it’s true huh?  But for what we are getting, it's worth it.

Seb and I stayed in, watched a dvd while passing out candy to the neighborhood kids. It was a nice, relaxing evening in. Today we went to Costco and stayed home for the rest of the day as well. And right now I’m enjoying our 50” TV in the master. Seb helped me move the TV he got me last Christmas from my office to the master, so I can get ready to just relax in here with the baby when I do my one month recovery after Kumquat is born.

4 more weeks. Any day now.

Packing my hospital bag right now. What the heck goes in the bag?!

Gonna steal hubby's post of our babymoon. 

Seb took me to San Diego Zoo yesterday to see some cute animals!  I love animals!  Though it was kinda tiring for me to walk any distance at all at this point, I still had a lot of fun.  He also got us a backstage pass which had some private shows, seeing the animals up close, AND we also go to feed the Rhinos!  I didn't feed them though, cause they slobbered A LOT.  Nonetheless, I still had fun watching and and being able to get real close to them.  The backstage pass also included a box lunch which was provided while we watched the animal show in a nice secluded shaded area.  We even got a picture thrown in with Sonic the hedge hog.             Fun day.  That was our one day babymoon adventure.  We were going to take a 3 - 4 day cruise, but later found out they don't let pregnant women over 25 weeks board the ship.  It was a real bummer.  So, next year it'll have to be.  Maybe for our 2nd wedding anniversary.  Anyone wanna babysit?

I love waking up to fall weather. I love fall. I love the change of the weather, I love the color of the leaves, I love the preparation for the holidays. Makes me happy. And I LOVE pumpkin pie. (Elewen )

Today I’m 33 weeks. 7 more to go. Almost there. Really almost there. I have a doctor’s appointment at 10:30am today. Just going in for the normal checkup, listen for the heartbeat, and that’s it. On November 2^nd, I’ll have my ultrasound to check for Kumquat’s position.

Over the last 2 weeks, I’ve certainly started feeling him move around a lot more. I can feel what seems to be his butt pushed up against my stomach, making one side harder and sticking out more. It’s funny, when I massage that area, he’ll move to the other side or back into the middle. Then most of the time, I’ll feel a little foot or hand sticking out or brushing past. It really feels like his bones are ossifying. Amazing little thing. So I’ve been more on top of taking my calcium supplements, drinking my milk, and taking my vitamins. Being pregnant is fun. (Well, most of the time.)

We received the baby bedding package end of last week, so Hubby starting working on the room, blinds are up, wall decorations are up. Real cute. We still have some missing pieces, so I can’t wait for those to arrive! We’re ready for you Kumquat, and we CAN’T WAIT TO MEET YOU!

I haven't posted photos for a while.  So after dinner today, I took a shower, took a LONG time to put on my makeup, and hubby took my photo for me in his studio.  I was really excited, cause I know he'll make me look good.  <3
